The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has previously announced that the last date for submission of assignments for its students will be in April. The date was stated as the first date, which was subsequently followed by a revision of the announcement. The original announcement made in December 2018 had stated the last date to submit assignments as the 20th of February, while a revised notice in January 2019 stated that assignments should be submitted by the 20th of March. The new notice also announced another assignment submission deadline—the 14th of May—for full-credit courses and all other courses.
These changes are in line with AIOU’s objective of eradicating backlog in its system, improving communication between students and teachers, and keeping students informed about deadlines for their assignments and tests.
