AIOU Admission Criteria has been changed from time to time. In past, old criteria were counted in 50 marks while new criteria is counted in 75 marks. Here is the updated criteria: SSC Total Marks ≥ Threshold Marks (50) OR GCE O-Level Marks ≥ Threshold Marks (50) OR Equivalent Exam Pass Marks AIOU New Criteria (75) PLUS Additional Criteria for Admission for Graduation Courses (50) PLUS Additional Criteria for Admission for Diploma Courses (50) PLUS Additional Criteria for Admission for Master’s Programs (50)
2. AIOU Admission Application Form
AIOU accepts the following forms of admission applications: 1. Offline -candidates can submit their application forms offline by visiting the admission department of AIOU, Islamabad. 2. Online -candidates can also apply online at the admission department of AIOU, Islamabad. However, they will be required to submit the hard copies of the application form at the time of verification of documents in the admission department of AIOU. 3. By Post -candidates can also send the duly filled AIOU admission form to the admission department of AIOU, Islamabad. Upon receipt of hard copies of the application form, they will be processed and further admission formalities will be completed. 4. Mobile -Application. Candidates can also apply for admission through mobile phones. They can download their admission forms from the website of AIOU and submit them through SMS.
3.How to Apply for AIOU Admission
The admission procedure for AIOU starts in June. The candidates who have passed their B.Sc/Hons (4 years)/equivalent or above degree from any recognized institution are eligible to apply for this admission. The candidates are required to get their documents verified by the respective regulating authority. The candidates will have to take their CBSE/BISE or equivalent final year examination from any recognized institution. 5. AIOU B.Com Admission Requirements
AIOU Bachelor of Commerce part 1 admission requirements: The applicant must have intermediate from a recognized board of Intermediate Education and a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks in the F.Sc. The applicant must have to pass the annual examination of the intermediate on the first attempt. Failing in which the candidate may take the next year’s annual exam provided the candidate secures a minimum of 45% marks in the F.Sc. The candidate must have at least two years of work experience in any field of B.Com, B.A/B.Sc or B.Sc (Hons)/B.Cy/B.IT/B.Com (Hons). Additional requirements: The candidate must have completed the age of 16 years. The candidate must have met the admission requirements of AIOU B.Com part 2. The candidate must be an intelligent and physically sound person. The candidate must have fulfilled all the other admission requirements of the University.

9. AIOU admision for BA, BSC & BCS
AIOU has announced the AIOU Admission Form for the B.A, B.S.C, and B.C.S. admissions for the year 2022. The candidates can get the admission form from the university’s website or from the online application from July 29 to August 12. The admission test will be held on August 24 and 25. The fee for admission is Rs. 1500 for the general category and Rs. 800 for the reserved category.

10. Admission In MA, MSC
The complete admission requirement for the Master of Arts (MA) Mainstream program is listed as follows: Applicants must have a Bachelors’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college/university. The minimum GPA required for admission into the program is 2.5/4.0. Applicants must have scored a minimum of 450/800 on the TOEFL or 100/200 on the IELTS. The program is open to any foreign student having a valid student visa in the US. MA prospectus can be bought from any campus and revert back with required documents as well as correct information.
